Tennyson Douglas Ison
September 26, 1943 — June 5, 2020
Tennyson Douglas Ison, 76, passed away June 5, 2020. He was preceded in death by parents, Lance and Eula Ison; brother, Gary Ison; wife, Donna Ison; nephew, Gary A. Ison; and many dear friends.
Doug is survived by daughter, Tina (Tim) Ison - Mastenbrook; sister, Janice Claffey; grandchildren, Natosha Wissinger, Brittany Wissinger, Jevan Borgemenke, Tennyson (Sarah) Borgemenke, Tiffani Harrell, Allison Mastenbrook, Megan Mastenbrook; great-grandchildren, Stephen Eisnaugle, Brielle Ison, Mirra Ison, JJ Rapp, and Kehler Simon; furry companion, Bonnie; many nieces and nephews, and friends.
He was an avid softball player, owner of Nosi Construction, and also owned thoroughbred horses. Doug loved oldies music and dancing. He stepped in for his friends and family when they needed him. He will be fondly remembered for his sense of humor and good looks. Doug is a west side legend and well loved by many.
Visitation Tuesday, June 16, 2020 from 1-3 and 5-7pm, followed immediately by Funeral Service at 7pm at Newcomer, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family during this difficult time.
