Teresa Ann Feddersen, 62, of Sunbury, died peacefully March 30, 2015. She was an 8 year survivor of breast cancer. Terry was born to the late Jerold V. Feddersen and survived by Jean L. Feddersen, May 30, 1952, in Columbus, Ohio.
Teresa was an advocate for all children and worked in Columbus Public Schools as a Special Education teacher and Counselor. She was a Program Coordinator for the Drug/Alcohol, "Stop Bullying in Schools" and S.A.I.L. She found sanctuary in her gardening and her loving heart was always reaching out to those around her. She was a close member of her community in Sunbury, Ohio and her favorite breakfast place was the town's "Grill". A smile was always on her face and she was always laughing about something, even as she battled breast cancer. Her strength and courage can only be described as heroic.
Teresa is survived by her two children; Geoffrey C. Clingo and Abigail L. Clingo. She is also survived by her Aunt Rea Wise; two siblings, Jerold V.(Vicki) Feddersen, Jr. and Christine L.(Jeff) Althouse; Nieces, Lauren, Julie, and Kasey; Nephew, Jeremy; two great-nephews, Graham and Collin; and special cousins, Bob and Charee Maddux.
The family would like to acknowledge her special Doctors and friends, Dr. Yadov, Dr. Kowalesky, Dr. Schrif, Jeanette (Mike) Ripley, Val Richards and neighbor Greg.
Terry is our "Super Hero".
Visitation will be this Saturday, April 4, 2015 from 9:00-11:00 AM at Overbrook Presbyterian Church, 4131 North High Street, Columbus, with the memorial beginning at 11:00 AM.
