Thelma Stewart, 91, passed away on Sunday, July 1, 2018 in Columbus, OH. Thelma was born on April 4, 1927 in Filbert, WV to the late William and Laura (Perkins) Stewart .
Thelma is preceded in death by her sisters, Mary Barksdale and Bertha Mays; brothers, Rufus and Fred Stewart.
She is survived by her daughters, Ramona (James) Jackson, Marilyn Barksdale and Carolyn Stuart; grandchildren, Joye Raimey, LaToya Stewart, Terrence (Jamilah) Stuart and Marlon Barksdale; seven great-grandchildren; brothers, Paul and John Stewart.
Family will receive friends on Friday, July 13, 2018 from 10 to 11am at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Columbus NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd., Columbus, OH 43231. A memorial service will immediately follow at 11am also at Newcomer NE Chapel.
