Thelma Mae Winks

Thelma M. Winks (Leffue), age 91, passed away peacefully on July 21, 2025 at Kobacker House Hospice. She was born April 25, 1934 to the late Leonard and Helen Leffue. She retired from Metler Toledo (Toledo Scale) where she went to work after her youngest child became a teenager. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald, her youngest son, Dennis, her granddaughter, Kaitlyn, sisters Martha Barney and Donna Fisher. She will be deeply missed by her children Donald A. (Peggy), David L. (Jean), Dana R. (Sandy), Tamara (Mark) Dolinski who resides in Livonia, Michigan, daughter-in-law Kelly, sister Sheila Barrette along with her 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. She was a member of St. Matthias Catholic Church. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and lived her life to the fullest at The Villas of Canterbury Woods condominium community. She enjoyed spending time with her family as well as sewing, crocheting, crafting and playing euchre with her dear friends both in person and on her computer. 

A funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 AM with visitation beginning at 9:30 AM on July 30, 2025 at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 313 N. State St. Westerville, Ohio 43082 followed by burial at Northlawn Memorial Gardens, Westerville, Ohio. St. Paul will live-stream the mass. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations can be made to Kobacker House Hospice or Ohio Health Foundation.
