Theron Wm. "Barney" Barnhart, age 91, passed away Friday, January 22, 2016 at his home.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Theron Wesley and Effie M. Barnhart; and his brother, Robert W. Barnhart.
He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Patricia Ann Barnhart; daughters, Kathleen Ann (Christopher White) and Lea Ann (Charles Ardovino); grandchildren, Timothy (Kerri) White, Sara (Adam) Taylor, Lori (Brant) Long, Paul (LaTina) White, Dylan Shelton, Mathew (Rachel) White, Jack (Jessica) Shelton, Annie Shelton, and David (Courtney) White; great-grandchildren, Ronald, Kolton, Camron, Eli, Ethan, Henry, Porter, and Zola.
Theron graduated from Columbus West High School and served three years with the Army Signal Corp in the Pacific Theatre of World War II from January 1943 to February 1946. After being honorably discharged from the Army, Theron graduated from The Ohio State University with a B.S. in Engineering in December 1953. He retired from a successful career at Landmark in 1982.

Interment will be at Sunset Cemetery, where a private ceremony will be held for family.
