Thomas Lee Blake, 74, passed away November 8, 2013. He was born on April 13, 1939 in West Virginia.
Preceded in death by parents, James and Lucy Blake; grandparents, Earnest and Ada Blake and Sam and Dora Casto; brothers, Nile, William, Charles and Arnett Blake.
Surviving family includes, daughter, Saundra (Kalei) Napalapalai; son, Michael Blake; brother, James Blake; sister, Patricia (Wayne) Lyons; grandchildren, Ryan and Brittany Blake; fifteen nieces and nephews; special friend, Larry (Robin) Schobelock.
Thomas worked for Big Bear Stores for 42 years. He enjoyed sports, going on vacation, attending car shows and restoring cars. He coached little league baseball for Madison District Athletic Association for a number of years; served on the board of directors for Members First Credit Union and Groveport Madison School Athletic Association.
Visitation Sunday, November 10, 2013 from 3-5 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Funeral Service and Entombment at Haven of Rest Memory Gardens, 11013 Charleston Rd., Red House, WV 25168 on Monday, November 11, 2013 at 1pm with a visitation one hour prior. Reverend Paul Browning to officiate.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Thomas' memory to The Bing Cancer Center, 500 Thomas Lane, Columbus, OH 43214.
