Listen to Obituary

Thomas Washington Corona, aka "Tim" went to be with the Lord on February 14, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

He is preceded in death by his mother and father, Josephine and Anthony, his oldest brother Frank, his sisters Maryjo and Toni, and his younger brother David.

He leaves behind his wife of 36 years, April, and 5 children, Angela (Christopher) Ferguson, Amanda (Ed Strempel) Corona, Christopher (Toma) Corona, Lori (Jeff) Sears, Charles B. Meyer III and lastly their dog, Olive. His legacy also lives on, through his grandchildren, Kathy and Jon Sears, Kayleigh and Kim Meyer, Connor and Carter Corona, Gillian Ashmore and Faith Davis.

Tim was born and raised in Bucyrus, Ohio then moving to Gahanna Ohio in 1989, then to New Albany, Ohio where he currently resided.
He worked as a young boy at his family's restaurant, Corona Villa. Tim retired after over 34 years of dedication from Timken Company in 2000.
His greatest joy was his wife and his family. He loved Youtube, essential oils, was an avid reader, loved to tell you a joke, and enjoyed helping others.

This man was a true treasure. To know him was to love him. Interesting stories, so many laughs and good times. He was always putting others before himself.

The family would like to express their sincerest gratitude to the incredibly compassionate care team at Grant hospital.

In lieu of flowers, try this in his honor. Let someone know you love them, share a random hug or lastly do an unexpected act of kindness towards someone.

There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date.
