Thomas "Tom" E. Cox, 67 of Westerville, passed away Monday, November 30, 2015 at O.S.U. Medical Center.
He was born February 2, 1948 in Columbus, son of the late Willard Lester Cox and Goldie Mae Shafer Cox.
In addition to his parents, Thomas was preceded in death by his wife, Kimberly Cox; brother, Gary Cox; sister, Valarie Patrick.
He is survived by his sons, Tom E. (Stacy L.) Cox Jr. and David Cox; brothers, Gregory (Joyce) Cox and Wayne (Cherry) Cox; grandchildren, Thomas E. (Teresa Ann) Cox III and Chelsea Lynn Cox.
Visitation will be Friday, December 4, 2015 from 11:00-1:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus.
Graveside service will begin at 1:30 PM at Blendon Central Cemetery, 6340 Hempstead Rd. Westerville.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society Central Region Office-FRAO, 5555 Frantz Rd. Dublin, OH 43017.
