Thomas Harris

Thomas Harris, age 62, of Columbus passed away on January 14, 2023. He was born on May 9, 1960 to the late Kenneth and Hazel Harris. In addition to his parents, Thomas is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jane and brother, Charles Harris.

Thomas is survived by his children, Michael (Marci) Schmidt, Amy (Jonathon) Craft, Katherine (Timothy) Barnett; grandchildren, Camryn, Lauren, Cada, Amaya, Wyatt, Kyle, Evan, Emma, Ashtyn, Brody; great-grandchildren, Zaiden, Alyza; siblings, Kenneth (Sandi) Harris, Al Harris, Dennis (Debbi) Tarbert; and many other family and friends.

Thomas was a devoted husband to Mary Jane for 37 years. He was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Thomas enjoyed fishing, classic rock, basketball and was an overall sports fan. He was a member of many fishing clubs, including The Ohio Bass Federation, and participated in tournament fishing with lifelong friends. Thomas loved to retreat to Kelley's Island and Lake Erie annually with his wife and family.

Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at Newcomer Northeast, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Road. Service will begin at 1 p.m. officiated by Pastor Tim Womack.
