Thomas Edward McGovern Jr.

Thomas E. McGovern Jr., 82, went to be with the Lord on February 28 at home, surrounded by family.

He is survived by his best friend and loving wife, Angie; sons Jeffrey (Terry) and Jon; daughters Jill and Jodi (Mark); four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father, Thomas Sr., his mother, Ruth, and brother, Patrick.

Tom attended St. Thomas Aquinas High School. He was a Columbus Police Officer from 1965-1979, a bar and restaurant operator from 1975-1984, and had various sales jobs.

Thomas never met a stranger, and he had so many wonderful friends.

A private family service will be held at Resurrection Cemetery. Celebration of life at a later date.
