Thomas "Tim" Travis, USAF SMgt Retired, of Pataskala, Ohio passed away on April 4, 2026. Tim was born in Columbus, Ohio to the late Thomas and Geneva (Bickel) Travis.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Everett "Bud" Travis.
He is lovingly survived by his wife, Fay, children, Cinnamon, Tony, Joe, brother Danny, nieces, nephews, cousins, bonus daughter, Heather (Wally) Wickline, lifelong best friend aka brother, Mike Tierney, amd many devoted friends.
Tim was a 1966 graduate of Linden McKinley Stem Academy. He received his Associate's Degree in Logistics Management in 1986 USAF Community College, his Bachelor's Degree from Wayland Baptist University in 1989 with a degree in Business Administration. He was a USMC Rifleman 1968-1969. Tim earned USMC Combat Action Ribbon, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Cross of Gallantry with/device, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal. USAF 1972-1994 Munitions (AMMO.) USAF Meritorious Service Medal (2), USAF Commendation Medal, USAF Achievement Medal, Best in USAF Munitions AFK (2). Best Munitions AFK in PACAF, NCO Leadership Commandment Award and Distinguished Grad, Numerous NCO and Senior NCO of the Quarter awards at multiple locations.
Tim was an avid Cleveland Indians/Guardians baseball fan. He also enjoyed OSU Football. He loved old cars from the 40s and 50s. He completely restored seven in his garage. He loved working on them more than driving them. He loved his dogs very much.
