Tim Deeter

Tim Deeter, age 54 of Grove City, Ohio, passed away peacefully, on September 3, 2026. 

Tim was employed at Franklin University for many years as a chemist. 

He had a great love for nature and the outdoors; spending a lot of time kayaking. 

Tim was very gifted musically and will be most remembered for his love of playing his flutes, harmonica and guitars. 

He was a member of AA and had many special friends there. He was a very giving and caring person, even outside of AA, and had many special friends, including his best friend, Chase Wartenbe. 

Surviving family includes his mother Clara Burt, siblings Tonya (Earle) Steele, Teresa (Criag) Ulrich and a nephew Seth Steele, and beloved cats Bo and Daisy. 

Tim was preceded in death by his brother-in-law Craig Ulrich. 

A celebration of life will be held at a later date with his local AA group.
