Timothy Shawn Hunter

Timothy Shawn Hunter, 53, of Columbus, passed away on July 28, 2024. He was born in Columbus, Ohio to the William (Cheryl) Hunter and Delores L. (Baker) Hunter. 

Those left to cherish Tim’s memory include son, William “Chase” Hunter; significant other, Sharon Karow-Mobley; brother, Frank E. (Tonya) Hunter; sister, Tonya Baker; and many other family members and friends. 

Along with paternal and maternal grandparents, Tim was preceded in death by his brother, Joey Ross; and life-long friend, Eric Mobley. Following him a week later on the rainbow road was their dog, Mindy Sue.

Tim was known for his professional skills of laying hardwood floors and other contracting. Absolute best at tell jokes, true gut-busters and sarcastic remarks inspiring laughter in all. When he wasn’t at work, Tim loved to make pizzas. He was a dedicated fan of The Ohio State University Football team and the San Francisco 49ers. He also enjoyed spending his time watching tv, enjoying the good slapstick comedies like Tommy Boy and Adam Sandler movies.

Immediate Family will greet friends and family from 2 to 4pm during a Celebration of Life Gathering held at the Newcomer Funeral, Northeast chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, 43231.
