Tom Russell, 64, of Columbus, passed away on Monday, February 2, 2015. He was born on January 29, 1951, in Columbus, to the late John and Dolores (Stone) Russell.
Tom was a 1969 graduate of Brookhaven High School. He was retired from the State of Ohio Bureau of Workers Compensation. For nearly 30 years, Tom ushered for the Columbus Clippers.
In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by a niece, Cori Ann Mullins. He is survived by ten siblings, Susan Johnson, John Russell, Peggy Thacker, Debbie Moses, Mary Ann (Glenn) Mullins, Brenda Russell, Ralph (Sheena) Russell, Leona Russell, Laura (Bill) Engle, and Joyce Russell; and many treasured nephews and nieces.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 4, 2015 from 4-7pm in Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd, Columbus. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 5, 2015 at 10am in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to National Kidney Foundation (2800 Corporate Exchange Drive #260, Columbus, OH 43231).
