Tommy passed away peacefully with his family by his side. Preceded in death by his father, Thompsie Wilks; mother, Mazie Wilks.
Tommy is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Beverly Wilks; daughter, Stephanie (Jack) White; son, Tommy Wilks Jr.; grandchildren, Kelly (Ashley) Fannin, Malinda Fannin, Brooklynn Wilks, Cameron Wilks, Seth Wilks; sister, Darlene (Gary) White; brother, Hershel (Nancy) Wilks; sister, Linda (Randy) Herron; brother by another mother, Joey Bucci, brother by another mother, Richard (Debbie) Groce, 6 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, so many friends and neighbors.
He was a proud Army Airborne Veteran. He retired from the Franklin County Sheriff's Office after many years of service.
Tommy was the pillar of his family and friends. He provided strength, knowledge and loyalty to all who knew him. He will be missed by many.
