Tony "Anthony" Wemyss

With tear filled eyes we announce the sudden passing of Tony(Anthony) M. Wemyss. A father, son, brother, uncle and friend left us to soon the morning of Monday June 30th 2025 at the age of 39. Proceeded in death by his Grandmothers Ellen Leaman and Veda Treboni, Aunt Patricia Douglas, and Sister Amy Roark. He leaves behind his beautiful daughter Rylee Wemyss, Grandfather Robert Leaman, Mother Denise Price, Father Anthony Wemyss, Sisters Lindsey (Donnie) Biery, Kristen (Drew) Biery, Lexis (IaIn) Wemyss and brother Louis (Emily) Wemyss. Aunts Jennie (Joe)Sahr, Pam (Denver) Elsass, Karen (Marshal) Harris, Noel Verhoff and Uncles Dominic (Lori) Smathers, Paul (Brenna) Smathers, Robert Leaman and long time girlfriend Trina Britt, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins that he loved dearly. Born March 13, 1986 in the state of Georgia, he was a fighter from the start of his life up until the end. Tony spent his free time helping others whenever he was asked, not asking for anything in return. If you needed anything fixed, painted, built, he was a master of it all. The type to give the shirt off his back for anyone in need. He was the happiest spending time with all his friends and family never failing to bring a smile to the faces of those who needed it. He grew up in many different places but spent a majority of childhood and young adulthood in West Jefferson Ohio making all kinds of friends along the way. He could never know a stranger, and if he did they would be friends by the end of one conversation. Although he will be missed by all who knew him, we celebrate the life he lived so happily and to the fullest capacity anyone could. Visitation will be held at Newcomers funeral home 3393 Broadway, Grove City Ohio 43123, July 10 from 9 am to 11 am with a service to follow at Saint Joseph Cemetery Lockbourne Ohio.
