Tony James Balling
August 22, 1955 — July 17, 2017
Tony James Balling, 61, passed away July 17, 2017. He was preceded in death by parents, Thomas Joseph Balling and Ella Florence Lowery; nephews, Robert Michael Hosfelt and Jesse Lee Balling; and brother, Thomas Joseph Balling II.
Tony is survived by wife, Diane Hall; children, Charles Walters Sr., Irene (David) Whitesides, Andre (Thao) Bourgeois, Christina Antoinette Balling, and Tony James (Suzie) Balling II; mother of his children, Carolyn Sowers; 13 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; siblings, Teresa Hosfelt, Mark Balling, and Dennis (Sharon) Balling; best friend, Arthur Greenwood; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Tony worked at National Electrical Coil Co. as an alternator assembler for the past 9 years. He served in the United States Coast Guard and was honorably discharged. Tony enjoyed working on cars, fishing, cook outs, and spending time with friends and family.
Visitation Sun., July 23, 2017 from 5-8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Funeral Service Mon., July 24, 2017 at 9:30am at the Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Highland Memorial Cemetery, West Liberty, OH.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Tony's memory to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718.
