Van Allen Belcher Sr., 72, of Columbus, passed away Saturday, December 23, 2017.
Van was born September 17, 1945 to George and Velva (Johnson) Belcher.
He was an avid fisherman and loved to fish in Curtis, Michigan. He loved being with his family and friends. Van worked at the OSU concession stands for over 40 years. He retired from the CMHA.
He was married to Jackie (Carr) for 53 years.
Van will be deeply missed by his wife; children Van (Kathleen) Jr. Belcher, Becky Burton, Mandy (Joey) Neely-Becker; grandchildren Bobby, Tiffany, Adam, Michael, Ryan, Faith, Abigail, Jack; great-grandchildren Emily and Rachel.
Along with his parents, Van was preceded in death by his siblings Charles, George, Ilene, Howard.
