Van Sak Huoch, 45, passed away on February 15, 2026, in San Antonio, Texas. Born on February 18, 1980, in Thailand, Van lived a life marked by dedication, kindness, and passion.
A retired U.S. Army veteran with 21 years of honorable service, Van exemplified commitment and resilience throughout his military career. His intelligence and determination were evident in his work, while his kind-hearted nature left a lasting impression on those who had the privilege of knowing him. Van’s passion for life and his memorable presence will be deeply missed.
Van is survived by his father, Thai Huoch; his mother, Yai Long; his brother, Mita Huoch; his niece, Mayla Huoch; and his cousins Vanny Po, Monica Long, Sabrina Long, and Valerie Karuchit. His family and loved ones will forever cherish the memories they shared with him.
May Van’s memory bring comfort to all who knew him and serve as a reminder of the love and dedication he brought into the world.
Visitation Tuesday, March 3, 2026 from 10am until the time of Service at 12pm at Newcomer, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. He will be laid to rest immediately following at St. Joseph Cemetery, Lockbourne, OH.
