Velda E. Williams, 89, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away June 4, 2021.
She was born in Columbus, Ohio on September 2, 1931 to the late Stacy and Myrtle Pearl Jakeway.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 70 years, Donald Williams; grandson, Donnie Williams; and son, Rickey Williams.
Surviving family includes daughter; Katie (Jim) McMahon; granddaughters, Amber (Jim) Tarantine, Crystal (Brian) McCutchen, Angel (Jose) Rosalino; grandson, Sean McMahon; great grandchildren, Tanner and Haylee McCutchen, James and Aria Taratine, Jayden Williams; Piper Annalise McMahon, Ivy Cait McMahon.
Velda was such a spectacular woman and loved by everyone!
She was selfless, and independent; she was a strong willed woman but had a heart of gold.
Velda was open minded and willing to listen to those who needed an ear.
She was an amazing mother and grandmother, caring and kind.
