Velma L. Aurand, age 89 of Westerville, passed away at Mt. Carmel/St. Ann's Hospital on December 17, 2018. She was born on December 27, 1928 to the late Fred and Bridget (Perry) McCray in Nelsonville, Ohio. Velma was an avid gardener. Velma is survived by children David Aurand, Michael (Susan) Aurand and Steve (Valerie) Aurand, grandchildren Donovan (Paulette) Aurand, Kristi (Darrel) Gray, Julie (Brent) Giffen, Jesse (Rachael) Aurand and Nathan Aurand, 8 great grandchildren. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband Marvin Aurand.
Graveside service will be held at Mifflin Cemetery, Gahanna on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at 11am.
