Vernie Walker, 75, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away April 19, 2018, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on February 12, 1943. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Birdie Fields and 6 sisters. Surviving family includes, husband, Coy Walker; daughters, Dawn (Greg) Pack and Lisa (Roger) Hinkle; grandchildren, Gregory Joshua (Erika), Halynn, Caitlyn, Zachary, Amber, Lindsey (Michael) and Jacob; great-granddaughter, Adalynn Pack; sisters, Grethel Muncy and Gail (Tim) McCoy.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm & 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Monday, April 23, 2018 at Shadeville Church of God, 4800 Lockbourne Road, Columbus, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at the Church.
Burial will follow at Fernwood Cemetery.
Reverend W. Michael Nichols will officiate.
