Vernonne "Vee" Weiner

Vee went to the Lord on November 7, 2025.

Preceded in death by parents Elwood Guthrie and Lois Brown, husband Thomas H. Weiner, children Dickie Melvin, April Lynn Lochbihler, TJ Weiner, and son in law Alan Morse.

Survived by son Todd ( Elyssa) Melvin, daughters Carol Morse, Jan (Ron) Gill, son in law Tim Lochbihler and daughter in law Cheryl Morse. Grandchildren: Jessica Melvin, Jamie (Robert) Edmonds, Stephanie Lochbihler, Craig (Connie) Morse, Shannon (Tom) Digiacomo, Shayne (Jason) Fletcher, Amber (Tom) Gill, Kevin (Bethany) Weiner, Marc (Amy) Weiner. 27 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Sisters Debbie Blunt and Saundra (Jim) Davis and many nieces and nephews.

Vee was born at University Hospital in Columbus Ohio October 30,1940, she graduated from Scioto Township High School in 1959, became a cosmetologist and managed several Fiesta salons in the Columbus area until her retirement. Vee had a passion for helping others whether it was volunteering at her children’s schools, watching the grandkids or taking care of elderly folks in their home after she retired.

Vee was a remarkably strong woman. She met each struggle and sorrow with strength and grace. Her unwavering determination and strong spirit will forever live in the hearts of many.

Celebration of Life Services for Vee will be held on Sunday January 18,2026 from 1:00 pm -3:00pm at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 3047 E Dublin Granville Rd Columbus Ohio 43231.

Burial Service will be Monday January 19, 2026 10:00 am East Concord Cemetery, 6224 Hoover Road Grove City Ohio 43123
