Victor Leroy Hixson
December 5, 1943 — April 13, 2018
Victor L. Hixson, 74, passed away April 13, 2018. He was preceded in death by parents, Charles and Frances Hixson; brother, Mike (Barbara) Hixson; sister, Sharon (Donald) Smith; nephews, Michael and Charles "Ed" Hixson; and sister-in-law, Catherine Johnson.
Victor is survived by wife of 52 years, Shirley; son, Christopher (Candice); grandchildren, Troy and Lauren; sister-in-law, Sarah (Tom) Noon; brother-in-law, Ronald Johnson; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He retired from AEP after 35 years as a lineman. He was a member of the Hilltop Sportsman Club. Victor also served in the US Navy from 1961-1969, during the Vietnam War. He is a lifetime Martial Artist, currently a 9th degree black belt in Shorin Ryu Karate, and recently added to the Wall of Fame.
Visitation Friday, April 20, 2018 from 2-4pm and 5-7pm, with Funeral Service immediately following at 7pm at Newcomer, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
