Victor Hugo Juarez, Jr., a beloved son, devoted father, and cherished brother, passed away on August 9, 2025, at the tender age of 22 in Columbus, Ohio. Born on April 22, 2003, in Houston, Texas, Victor illuminated the lives of those around him with his infectious spirit and undeniable love for family and friends.
An outgoing personality, Victor was known for his vibrant charm. He always had to be right, yet his confidence only added to the affection people felt for him. A graduate of Central High School, Victor aspired to join the police academy, dreaming of serving his community as a dedicated police officer. As a fork lift driver, he worked hard, embodying the determination and commitment he wished to carry into his future career.
Victor was passionate about many pursuits; he loved spending time with family, often found engrossed in football games, particularly cheering on the Cincinnati Bengals and their star quarterback, Joe Burrow. His interests extended to the lively world of WWE wrestling, and he often enjoyed the rhythmic beats of Puerto Rican music and fan-favorite Zach Bryan. Above all, Victor found pure joy in the simple yet profound moments of being with his fiancée, Daniashly, and children, Mateo and Aleia, at the park, where laughter and love filled the air.
Family meant everything to Victor, and this sentiment is evident in the cherished memories shared by his parents, Victor Torres Juarez and Angela (Shaffer) Juarez. His mother recalls a fond moment watching him roll down the stairs in her dress, a sight that always brought joy and laughter. His father remembers the peaceful days spent camping and fishing alongside Victor and their beloved dog, Sam — those moments encapsulated the essence of their unwavering bond.
Victor's legacy continues through his fiancée, Daniashly Rodriguez, who stood by his side, and his siblings: Alex (Desarae) Reyes, Antonio (Cam) Reyes, Julio (Ashley) Juarez, and Veronica (Trevor) Juarez, all of whom held a special place in his heart. He will be deeply missed by his grandmother, Jennifer (Jose) Aguilar, and his grandparents, Emedia Torres and Bernando Juarez, alongside a multitude of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and extended family who cherished him immensely.
Though he left this world far too soon, Victor's loving spirit and vibrant personality will resonate in the hearts of those who knew him, forever remembered as an amazing father, loving son, and a remarkable brother. He has been reunited with his late grandfather, Golden Shaffer, Sr., and great-grandmother, Leota Robbins, in a peaceful, eternal embrace.
