Victor R. Thornton, 79, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on Jan. 25, 2019.
Preceded in death by parents, Griffith and Nellie Thornton.
Survived by wife, Anna; children, Meloney (Bruce) Rudman, Reed (Tammy) Thornton, Tracy (Mike) Roe; step-son, Steve (Donna) Lackey; grandchildren, Ryan, Tyler, MaLeah, Amanda, Troy, Eric, Justin, Zach, Bethany, Steven, Parker, and Karli; great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Victor enjoyed woodworking and gardening.
Memorial Service Monday, Jan. 28, 2019 at 5pm at First Christian Baptist Church, 4185 Parsons Ave., Columbus, OH 43207.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Central Ohio Chapter, 1379 Dublin Rd., Columbus, OH 43215.
