Victoria L. Cromwell, lovingly known as Vickie, passed away at home on September 11, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was 73. Born on January 8, 1953, in Glen Dale, West Virginia, Vickie will be remembered as a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend whose greatest joy was the people she loved.

Vickie worked for many years as a bank manager, a role that reflected her steady nature and dedication. Outside of work, she found happiness in the simple and meaningful moments of life. She loved spending time with family and friends and treasured the laughter and togetherness they shared. She enjoyed crocheting, especially making baby afghans for family and friends, a gift that carried both warmth and care. She also enjoyed watching Grey's Anatomy and looked forward to family game nights, especially lively rounds of Rummikub.

Her family was the center of her life. She is survived by her daughter, Deb (Verna Mayes) Rial; her sons, Ted (Catrina) Cromwell and John (Sarah Rohan) Cromwell; her son-in-law, Ted (Michele) Eaton; her sisters, Beth Watson and Carolyn (Joe Sullivan) Kaufman; her grandsons, Robert Cromwell, Preston Cromwell, and Luke (Shalynn) Eaton; her granddaughter, Elizabeth Cromwell; and her great-granddaughter, Montana Rose Eaton. She leaves behind many cherished memories in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Vickie was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, John Cromwell Jr.; her mother, Nancy (Whipkey) McCracken; her father, Charlie McCracken; her daughter, Melissa Eaton; and her sister, Charlene Williams.

She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered for her kindness, her love of family, and the comfort she brought to others in both large and small ways. Her memory will remain a lasting blessing to all who had the privilege of knowing her.
