Victoria J.(Workman) Wander

Victoria J. (Workman) Wander, 88, passed away on Sunday, February 28, 2016 in Westerville, OH. Vickie was born on August 8, 1927 in Danville, OH to Charles and Theresa (Rice) Workman.
Vickie is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Lyman, LeRoy, and Carl Workman; and nephew, William Workman.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Roy Wander; sons, Daniel (Karen) Wander and Richard Wander; four grandchildren, Kristine, Patrick, Michael and Emily Wander; brother Blaine (Shirley) Workman; and sisters-in-law, Nina and Donna Workman and their families.
Vickie was a long time member and supporter of Maize Manor United Methodist Church in Columbus, OH.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, Ohio 43231 followed by funeral services at 6:00pm. She will be laid to rest at Workman Cemetery in Danville, OH at 11:00am on Thursday, March 3, 2016. Vickie did not like to think of people going hungry, so in lieu of flowers, she requested that donations may be made to the Mid-Ohio Food Bank, P.O. Box 182883 Columbus, OH 43218.
