Vincent Joseph Gostel

Vincent Joseph Gostel, lovingly known as "Joe," passed away on September 17, 2025, in Orient, Ohio. He was born on February 20, 1955, in Akron, Ohio. Joe was a man with a wonderful gift for storytelling and was known for being a great talker. He was very loved by all who knew him.

Throughout his life, Joe enjoyed many hobbies, including fishing and hunting, which brought him great joy and a sense of adventure.

He is survived by his beloved siblings, Sharon Martin, Robert Gostel, Tonya (David) East, and John (Mary) Armour. Joe also leaves behind many nieces and nephews who will cherish his memory: Desiree Six, Cheryl Borden, Michelle Strickland, Sharon Dowell, Desiree Gostel, Patty East, Mallory Gostel, Wendy Clason, Charity White, Angela Armour, Nikkie Gostel, Kelly Gostel, and Angel Cooke, along with Jennifer Nelson and nephews Donnie Lemley, Charlie Martin, Robert Gostel Jr., and Eric Strickland. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Kay Lemley, and many extended family members.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Alexander and Betty (Armour) Gostel, and his brothers, Donald Lemley, Albert Gostel, and Mark Gostel.

A celebration of Joe's life will be held at a later date, allowing family and friends to gather and remember the joyous moments spent with him. He will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
