Violet Copas, age 83, passed away Tuesday, January 8, 2019. She was born on April 14, 1935 in Galloway, OH. Violet was a lifelong member of Alkire Rd. Church of Christ.
Surviving family includes children, Richard (Kathy) Copas and Violet (William) Kuhlke; grandchildren, Anita (Vaughn) Christie, Amy (Justin) Adelsberger, Jason (Beth) Kelley, Shawn (Lisa) Kelley, Jennifer Copas, Amber Copas, Robby Kuhlke and Fallon Kuhlke; 28 great-grandchildren; 3 great great-grandchildren; sisters, Linda (Kenneth) Kierns and Darlene Kirk; numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by parents, Frank and Eva Karns; son, Robert Copas; siblings, Betty Sherry, Roy Karns and Bob Karns.
Visitation will be held Sunday, January 13, 2019 from 1-4 p.m. at Newcomer Grove City, 3393 Broadway.
Funeral service will be held Monday, January 14, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
Burial to follow at Alton Cemetery, Galloway, OH.
