Violet Mae Grim, 93, passed away peacefully on Sept. 26, 2016. She was preceded in death by husband, Ralph Edward Grim; parents, William Henry and Bessie Mae (Kimball) Beach; daughter, Sandra Lea Halstead; sister, Eileen Birkhold Dolby; and brother, William Beach.
Survived by daughter, Lisa Ann (Horace Jr.) McConnell; grandchildren, Deanna Lyn Halstead, Travis Morgan McConnell; sister-in-law, Maureen Beach; brother-in-law, Harry Dolby; son-in-law, Thomas (Debbie) Halstead; foster granddaughter, Clara (Larry) Evans-Coy; nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation Thursday, Sept. 29, 2016 from 5-7 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Funeral Service Friday, Sept. 30, 2016 at 10 am with visitation one hour prior at the Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Green Lawn Cemetery, Columbus, OH.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Violet's memory to Grace of God Lutheran Church, 1000 Demorest Rd., Columbus, OH 43204.
