Virginia Decker, age 92, passed away on Thursday, March 8, 2018. She was born on April 6, 1925 in Columbus, OH to the late Stanley and Virginia Swingle.
Virginia was a loving mother. She retired as a dedicated State employee of Ohio Department of Taxation. Virginia was a long time member of St. Mark Lutheran Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Warren Decker; son David Decker; siblings, Stanley, Howard and Kathryn and daughter-in-law, Tonya "Charli" Decker.
Virginia is survived by her sons, Warren (Keitha), Alan (Ruth) and Roger Decker; grandchildren, Terry (Trudi), Marshall (Kelly), Marcie and Hope; great-grandchildren, Chloe, Zoey, James and Joshua; sister, Betty; daughter-in-law, Michelle.
The family will receive friends from 10am-12pm, Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at Newcomer Funeral Home, N.E., 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd., Columbus, OH 43231, where the funeral service will be held following at 12pm. Interment at Blendon Central Cemetery.
