Virginia L. Pierce

Virginia “Ginny” Pierce, 78, passed away on November 23, 2026. She was born on March 31, 1948, and spent many happy years in New Port Richey, Florida, where she built a full and meaningful life surrounded by friends, sunshine, and the simple comforts she loved. She especially cherished the life she shared in Florida with Rick, a chapter filled with companionship and joy.

Ginny was known for her gentle, sweet nature and the way she cared deeply for the people around her. She was devoted to her Rotary community and poured her heart into the friendships she found there. She was endlessly proud of her family and she found tremendous joy in her many grandchildren, who brought light and laughter into her world. Her days were filled with the things she loved most: Rick, her beloved cats, a good book, a cold Diet Coke, and the company of the many friends she made across Florida.

Ginny is survived by her husband, Rick Pierce, and her son Tony (Amber) Repeta, along with Tony’s children, AJ and Ashlea. She is also survived by Scott (Rene) Pierce; Nathan Pierce and Demi, and their children Kix and Charlee; Austin Pierce and Katie, and their children Raegan and Creighton; and Sierra. She is further survived by Jeff Pierce and his son Marshall.

Those who knew Ginny will remember her warmth, her kindness, and the way she made others feel welcomed and valued. Her presence was steady and comforting, and her love for her family and community was clear in everything she did.

Visitation Thursday, December 11, 2025 from 10am until the time of Funeral Service at 11am at Newcomer, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Interment to follow at Concord Cemetery, Grove City, OH.
