Virginia Mae Raymond, 92, passed away Friday, June 30, 2017, in Lawrenceburg, IN. Virginia was born in Point Pleasant, WV on September 28, 1924, to Mack and Nellie (Hollands) Bennett and is preceded in death by her parents; husband Carl W. Raymond, and also 11 brothers and sisters.
She is survived by daughters, Patricia A. Slagle, Linda K. (Jerry) Branham; son, Donald W. "Billy" (Kasey) Raymond; 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Ann Ott plus a host of family and friends.
Family and friends will gather on Monday, July 10, 2017, 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, OH 43231 with the Funeral Service on Tuesday, July 11, 2017, 11 AM. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. A special thanks to the nurses and staff at Shady Nook Care Center in Lawrenceburg, IN for the wonderful care given to Virginia.
