Vivian G. Billups

Vivian G. Billups, 87, passed away on April 10, 2014 in Columbus, OH surrounded by her loving family. She was born on April 19, 1926 in Marion, OH.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Ada and Leroy Underwood; son, Thomas Billups; and brother, Terry Underwood.

She is survived by husband of 71 years, Paul D. Billups; brother, Richard (Anna) Underwood; children, Paul (Barbara) R. Billups, Gary Billups, and Randy (Christine) Billups; daughter-in-law, Vickie Billups; grandchildren, Brian, Kayla, Katie, and Cameron Billups, Lisa (Alex) Oliver, Kimberly (Mike) Montague, Christina (Lance) Brumley, Heather (Jason) Bell, Ashley (Jared) Rife, Elyssa (Kyle) Scholl, and Shannon (Andrew) Taylor; 14 great-grandchildren; and many other loving family members and friends.

Vivian was a long time member of McKendree United Methodist Church. Her favorite memories involved spending time with her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.

A visitation for Vivian will be held on Tuesday, April 15, 2014 from 11:00am to 1:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus, OH 43231 followed by a funeral ceremony at 1:00pm. She will be laid to rest at Mifflin Township Cemetery. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the many staff members of National Church Residences on Stygler Rd. for their excellent and loving care.
