Waldean Porter, 79, of Westerville formerly of Detroit, Michigan, passed away Monday, October 20, 2014 at Riverside Methodist Hospital.
She was born September 1, 1935 in Detroit, Michigan, daughter of the late John Robinson and Rosa Lee Burkes-Robinson.
In addition to her parents, Waldean was preceded in death by her husband, James Earl Porter.
She is survived by her daughters, Cecilia (Charles) Porter- Croff, Cynthia Lee Porter, Pandora Lolita (Troy) Brown, Waldean Belinda (William) Porter-Stevenson and goddaughter, Carmen Hall; grandchildren, Jordan Donald Porter, Alice Jamie Stevenson, god grandchildren, Danielle Hall and Conya Hall.
Visitation will be Friday, October 24, 2014 from 2:30-3:30 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus, with the memorial service beginning at 3:30 PM.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family to go toward funeral expenses.
