Walter Feasel
January 18, 1920 — September 15, 2016
Walter F. Feasel, 96, passed away Sept. 15, 2016. He was preceded in death by wife, Betty; parents, Samuel and Nora; an infant son; several siblings, nieces, and nephews.
Walter is survived by children, Frank Feasel and Debbie (John) White; adopted daughter, Shyann Feasel; grandchildren, Joseph White and Alycia (Drew) Baker; great-grandchildren, Judah and Haddie Baker; and nieces and nephews.
Walter served during WWII in the United States Army. He spent time overseas in the Pacific, Philippines and Japan. He, along with his wife Betty, provided foster care for many children. Walter was a member of the Grove City Church of the Nazarene. He was a very devoted husband. He loved his family and enjoyed the outdoors. Walter was waiting to journey back home to be with Betty. He would always say, "I love the Lord and He loves me."
Visitation Monday, Sept. 19, 2016 from 4-7 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Funeral Service Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2016 at 11 am at Grove City Church of the Nazarene, 4770 Hoover Rd., Grove City, OH. Interment to follow at Concord Cemetery (old), Grove City.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Walter's memory to the Grove City Church of the Nazarene.
