Walter L. "June" Seymour, 87, of Reese, OH, passed away August 28, 2013. He was born on March 22, 1926 in Columbus, OH.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Rita Seymour, parents, Walter Seymour and Ruth Weirs, brother, Edward, uncle, Virgil Seymour, granddaughter, Jennifer Seymour.
Surviving family includes, children, Joan Kurr, Jeff Seymour, grandchildren, Barbera, Robert, Aaron, Rachelle, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Walter was a veteran serving in the U.S. Navy during World War II and the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the VFW, the American Legion and the Moose Lodges.
Visitation will be held from 2-4pm and 6-8pm, Sunday, September 1, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home and Crematory, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Funeral services will be held at 11am, Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Walnut Hill Cemetery.
