Waneta B. "Nickey" Whited, July 20, 1943-October 1, 2016, age 73. Beloved mother of Donna (Tom), Diane, Doris and David (Nikki).
Proceeded in death by parents, Willard and Bernice Wendt; husband Jerry; daughter, Dawne; granddaughter, Amanda, (Donna) and Tim (husband of Diane). Survived by her 4 children; grandchildren, Kara (Jacob) and Zachary, (Donna), Anna and Jonathan, (Diane) and Christopher "CJ", (Doris). Also survived by her only sister and godchild, Debra (Rocky); favorite niece, Amelia and ex-husband Francis "Buck" Sidwell.
She crossed the Rainbow Bridge while watching NASCAR holding her sister's hand until the end, where she was greeted by our Lord and Savior Jesus and all the animals she rescued and loved. We were all blessed to have known her and be loved by her. She will be deeply missed by all her family and friends, especially those from her church.
Services for Nickey will be held at11:00 am, Saturday, October, 8, 2016 at the Brunswick Reformed Church, 3535 Grafton Rd., Brunswick, OH 44212. Pastor Dan Toot officiating. Cookies and coffee to follow the service.
