Wayland Wesley Brooks

Wayland Brooks, age 76, joined his beloved wife on June 22, 2017. He was born August 28, 1940 in Dante, Virginia to the late Belle and Avery Brooks. Wayland is preceded in death by his wife, Betty; brothers, Kermit Brooks, Jefferson Delmar Brooks and sister, Lois Breeding.
Wayland was a dedicated employee of JE Grote.
Survived by children, Lisa (Bruce) Fowler, Julie Blaylock, Shelley Richmond, Johnny Brooks, William (Tasha) Brooks; sisters, Iris (Cogan) Marshall, Janice (Jimmy) Compton, Mary Halloway, Janet (Ralph) Might; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123. The family will receive friends from 10 - 11a.m., with funeral services beginning at 11 a.m.
Interment to follow at Green Lawn Cemetery.
