Wayne M Engle

On the morning of August 14, 2026, Wayne Michael Engle completed his earthly journey. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, son, brother, and uncle, as well as a decorated veteran of the United States Navy.

Wayne cherished time spent with his family, loved sharing stories from his days in the Navy, and took great pride in collecting Native American decor.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 50 years, Nora Yvonne Engle; his parents, Wayne C. and Lillian Engle; his son, Shawn Wayne Engle; and his daughter-in-law, Tammy Engle.

Wayne is survived by his sister, Sheila Stover; his sons, Shannon (Christina) Engle and Sheldon Engle; his grandchildren, Christopher, Joshua (Lindy), and Victoria Engle; and his great-grandson, Oliver Engle.

Friends may call at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH on Saturday, August 22, 2026, from 9:30am until time of service at 10:30am. Burial to follow at Concord Cemetery, Grove City, OH.
