Wendell Barker, age 79, passed away on January 5, 2020. He was born in Martha, Kentucky on November 15, 1940 to Virgil and Mollie Barker.Wendell had served in the US Army.
He is preceded in death by his father, Virgil Barker; life long best friend, Carl Seedle.
He is survived by mother, Mollie Barker; Sue Barker, his wife of 52 years; children, Lois Ann (Brad) Harding, Lori Sue (Mike) McCoy; grandchildren, Hunter Harding, Heather Harding, Lance (Lizzy) McCoy, Sarah McCoy, and Natalie McCoy; sister, Betty (Wayne) Rice; brothers, David (Joey) Barker and Mike (Anne) Barker; special nieces and nephews, David, Teri, Amber, Justin, Josh, Emily, and Rex; numerous cousins.
Friends may call at the Newcomer Southwest Chapel 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH from 11:00am until time of service at 1:00pm on Thursday, January 9, 2020.
Interment to follow at Sunset Cemetery.
