Wendell I. Lantto, 86, of Columbus, passed away May 6, 2021. Wendell was born December 5, 1934 in Baltic, MI to Matthew and Helen (Kerenan) Lantto.
He proudly served in the United States Air Force for 20 years during the Vietnam War. Wendell worked for the USPS for over 27 years. He enjoyed bowling and fishing.
Wendell will be deeply missed by his wife Doris of 62 years; children Pamela (Jim) Whitmer, Timmy (Linda) Lantto, Wendell "Jack" Lantto II, Matthew Lantto; 10 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; brothers James (JoAnn) Lantto, Peter (Gloria) Lantto along with many other family and friends.
Wendell was preceded in death by his parents and sister Lois (Roger) Korpela.
Memorial Service will be Tuesday, May 11, 2021, at 2pm with a visitation to follow until 5pm at Newcomer NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd. Columbus.
Memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Carmel Hospice
