Willard Earl (Bill) Dillinger, went to heaven at age 83 on December 13, 2013. He passed away peacefully surrounded by family. His wife, Clara, never left his side. She says, "He was a wonderful man and father. I could've never have found anyone as good or understanding to make my life complete. I loved him with all my heart." Bill liked to fish, boat, ride horses and loved to watch deer and squirrels. He enjoyed all animals. He grew up outside Athens, Ohio on South Canaan Road and was proud of all his family. As a U.S. Marine, he fought in the Korean War. Bill retired as a teamster truck driver and his final job was with Manheim Ohio Auto Auction. He was known as honest, dependable and hard working. He was an excellent provider for his family-Clara, Larry, Lisa and Martin. He was so loved by them. Bill was an awesome grandpa and great-grandpa to Larry's children-Christopher and Larry Jr., Lisa's children and grandchildren-Nichole (Sabastian, Hailey and Grace), Timothy (Cadence) and Clara Marie, Martin and Diana's children and grandchild- Martin II (Madeleine) and Miranda. Every grandchild has fond memories and life lessons. All of us will always miss and love him.
