Listen to Obituary

Willard G. Stainer passed away after a short but brave battle with cancer. Preceded in death by his Mother Kathleen Stainer, Father Gilbert Stainer, brother Ronny Stainer, sister Janet Stainer, daughter Carla O,Neil. Survived by his loving wife of 61 years Patty Stainer. His sister Carol Park, Daughter Wanda (Ed) Holycross, granddaughter Megan Fleming, Rachel Holycross, Grandson Richard Fleming. Great Grandchildren, Reagan (Seth) Huff, Alaina (Larkin) Dever, Jordan Fleming, Morgan Fleming, Kostin Fleming. Great-Great Grandson Kieran Huff. Special friend Allison McGinnis.

He was a hardworking man whose greatest joy came from taking care of the people he loved. To his family, he was much more than a father and grandfather-he was a teacher, a protector, and a constant source of love and wisdom. He leaves behind countless memories that will be treasured forever. Playing Santa every year and swinging the babies was one of his favorite joys.

Anyone who knew him knew he had a wonderful sense of humor. He was always trying to get something for free and loved to joke, often saying, “Can I have a large milk at the small price?” That simple phrase became one of his trademarks and always brought smiles to those around him. Once he got started talking about a subject, he wasn’t going to let it go-but that was just part of what made him so uniquely himself.

His strength, determination, and unwavering work ethic shaped the lives of everyone around him. More importantly, his love and devotion to his family will continue to live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind.

Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing he is now at peace. His legacy will live on through the stories we tell, the values he instilled in us, and the love that will never fade.

Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever in our hearts.
