Willard Uhrig

Willard E. Uhrig, age 86 of Groveport, went to be with the Lord on Friday January 19th. He was born June 19, 1931, in Ross, County, to Fred and Rachel (Riehle) Uhrig. On Sept 5, 1953, he married the former Patricia Kellough who survives.
Also surviving is his daughter Darlene (Terry) Madden, of Groveport. Grandchild Eric (Anna) Madden. Greatgrandchildren, Mia Madden, Sarah Ware, and Jacob Ware.
Willard graduated from Twin Rural School in 1952. He retired from Kenworth Trucking Co in 1998. After retirement he worked at Grace Ministries church for 15 years. Willard attended Heritage Freewill Baptist church. He was one of the original members of the Uhrig Brothers Quintet.
He was a wonderful and loving husband, dad and pap. Willard loved his son-in-law as if he was his own child. His grandson (Eric) and family were special in his sight.
Visitation will be held from 1-3pm, Sunday, January 28, 2018 at Newcomer, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH, where a funeral service will begin at 3pm with Pastor Tim Stout and Rev. Herb Maxwell officiating.
