William Scott Barker

William Scott Barker, age 60, of Columbus, Ohio passed away on March 21, 2026. He was born on March 5th, 1966 to the late William and Donna Barker. 

He is lovingly survived by his two sons Corey (Sara) Barker, Cameron (Emily) Barker and five grandchildren: Ava, Elli, Bentley, Mason, and Noah. In addition to his children and grandchildren he is also survived by his sister Cheryl (Joe), nieces Crystal (Jen), and Taylor. 

Scott loved watching football in his free time and was a devoted Cleveland Browns and Ohio State fan, passing that love on to his son Corey, who looked forward to football season with his dad every year. They also enjoyed a friendly rivalry in a fantasy football league that was always an unspoken “no brainer” event at the start of the season. He also loved watching the Reds during baseball season and spent his free time playing softball, a hobby that spanned decades and he enjoyed very much. Spending time with his grandchildren brought him overwhelming joy, no matter how the time was spent. Scott was a family man that loved those in his life so fiercely, making sure that everyone knew how much pride he held for those around him. 

He will be greatly missed by all.
