William Fredrick Bertsch

William (Bill) F. Bertsch, of New Port Richey, FL, passed away on December 3, 2025 in Grove City, OH. Bill was born in Columbus, Ohio on March 12, 1934 to Fredrick and Helen Bertsch.

Bill served in the US Air Force from 1954-1957. He was a long time resident of Hilliard, OH during his career in logistics management. He retired from Industrial Nucleonics/AccuRay/CE/ABB after 30 years of service and relocated to New Port Richey, FL. He loved living in Florida, playing golf and enjoying the Timber Greens community. Bill served the community for many years as President of Royale Oak Village II, as Corporate Secretary and as a member of the Board of Directors. In his later years Bill enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, dining with friends, and watching others golf from his lanai overlooking the 12th hole.

Bill is preceded in death by his parents and his brother and sister-in-law, James and Nancy Bertsch.

Bill is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Cindy Bertsch, his daughter, Cindy Phillips, grandchildren Evan Bertsch, Emily (Zach Weisenseel) Bertsch, Iris (Ryan) Kempf, Cara Phillips, and great grandchildren Kenna, Ridley, Davis and Wells. Also survived by niece, Tracey (Chris) Adams and nephew Denny (Brenda) Bertsch and their families.

The family would like to thank Bill’s many friends in Florida for their friendship and support. The family also thanks the wonderful staff at Meadow Grove Transitional Care and Bella Care Hospice.

A private memorial will be held by the family.
