William A. (Bill) Miller, of New Albany, Ohio, passed away on August 16th, 2026. Bill was born on July 2nd, 1937 to William A. (Bert) Miller and Anna Bates Miller in Lima, Ohio at Lima Memorial Hospital in its opening year. He attended Lima Public Schools graduating from Lima South High School in 1955. In 1961, he married Deanne L. Frobase of Lima.
He was employed for his entire career of over 50 years as an Industrial/Commercial Photographer having apprenticed at Neon Products and Westinghouse Electric Corporations in Lima. In 1971, he started his own business (Industrial Photo Services) and operated for 36 years serving most of all the major industries in Allen and surrounding counties in Ohio. He was a past president of the Greater Lima Industrial Photographer’s Association, a past president of the Lima Men’s Garden Club, a past member of the Lima Elks Club, Kiwanis Club, member of The Heritage Foundation, Judicial Watch, NRA and a current member of Grace Polaris Church of Worthington Ohio and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association.
Survivors include his daughters Allison Miller (Ken) Tuller, Huntersville, North Carolina, Andrea Miller (David) Ibach, Westerville, Ohio, grandchildren Grace and Will Tuller, Huntersville, NC, Brothers In-law and Sisters In-law James and Jean Frobase of Russells Point, Ohio and Brian and Connie Frobase of Lima and also several nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his beloved wife, Deanne L Frobase Miller, Father and Mother William A. Miller Sr. and Anna L. Bates Miller of Lima Ohio, Sister and Brother In-law Miriam and Glenn Ernsberger of Melbourne Florida, Mother and Father In-law Franklin and Ruth Frobase of Lima Ohio and also Brother In-law Steven Frobase of Lima, Ohio.
He and Deanne enjoyed traveling and family vacations to Florida, California, New England, Cape Cod, Tennessee, Caribbean and St. Lawrence Seaway cruises and especially the numerous trips to New York City and the Broadway Musicals.
Having been a childhood musician, he had a lifelong love and appreciation of music. He also enjoyed boating at Indian Lake and Lake James Indiana, (pulling the girls 10,000 miles on water skies), the Ohio River and Lake Erie. He was also a lifelong avid fisherman and nature lover having been exposed to both at a young age by his father. He and his friends enjoyed many days fishing in Michigan, Canada, Ohio at Indian Lake, Lake Erie and also in the Florida Keys.
As a husband, father, and friend, he provided a strong foundation that gave so many a sense of security and comfort. Family and friends could always count on him in both good times and difficult ones. He was loyal, compassionate and generous, and he took great joy in sharing his humor, favorite music, and love for Jesus with those around him. He enjoyed worshiping his Father in Heaven and His Savior, Jesus. We are deeply thankful for his life, his love, and the lasting impact he had on so many.
A memorial service is planned for October 14, 2026 at 1pm at Newcomer Northeast Chapel, 3047 E Dublin Granville Rd, Columbus, Ohio 43231.
