William H. Truman 86 of Columbus passed on Aug. 11, 2019. He was born on Jan. 14,1933 in Lincoln, NE to Ernest and Katherine (Fox) Truman who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by a son William Neil Truman, a granddaughter Andrea and all of his siblings, 3 brothers Ernie, Tom, Jim, and a sister Ann. He is survived by 3 children Sara (Ted) Newman, Andy (Nancy), Anne (Gregg) Eddy, and a daughter in law Lorrie. Grandchildren Nick, Buck, Danny, Jay, Alex, Sutton, Valerie, Katie, Gina, Jack, Lexie, great-grandchildren Anthony, Ashley, Parker, Syria. His ex wife of 42 years Barbara Truman and companion of 25 years Marge Morosko and Marge's children Sharon, Stephanie, and Paul.
Bill was a huge lover of trains and he enjoyed being a bogey golfer. He was also a talented artist and enjoyed country music. Bill was assisted by Capital City Hospice who the family wishes to thank for their wonderful care.
There will be no services, the family was assisted by Newcomer NE Chapel.
